Gout Weight Loss and Inflammation Resolved

Our interaction with Antoinette starred from a conversation about gout! My husband had been suffering from intermittent but very painful bouts of gout. The pain level led to inaction, which in turn made weight loss a challenge. Cue Antoinette! The first consultation was exhaustive, probing health conditions and duration. The low carbohydrate plan is easy to embrace with swiftly visible results. This has led us to a lifestyle change which will have long term benefits for us both. I emphasise lifestyle change as that is what we needed to do. With Antoinette’s professional guidance, help and support making the switch has been easy. There’s simply no reason not to do it!!!!

Weight loss and Energy Success Story

I have just completed Antoinette's Happy Gut 28 day challenge. I do not need to loose a lot of weight but was interested to learn about gut health. I come from a health care background and thought I knew a lot about nutrition already. Nah - Absolutely not! What an eye opener this course has been for me. Antoinette explains the reasons for eating in a particular way and puts it over in an entertaining manner that is easy to follow. I have lost some weight and am happy to loose it slowly, but the main benefit is how I feel. I have much more energy and have not felt hungry at any time. Knowing why you are eating following Antoinette's regime makes is very easy to stick to it and she is realistic about occasional hiccoughs such as celebratory days and how to get back on track easily. I can highly recommend her 28 day challenge to everyone whether you need to loose weight or not!

As part of our Department’s Health and Wellbeing strategy, we organised a lunch and learn session on Gut Health which was presented by Antoinette Witter from The Happy Gut Clinic. We were treated to a table full of healthy options, followed by an energised and dynamic presentation. Antoinette made it so personal from the get-go that it was obvious she is living proof of how good gut health can change your life. The presentation was entertaining and funny and we gained so many insights into how simple lifestyle and dietary adjustments can lead to positive life-changing changes which affect your physical and mental wellbeing.
